Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? Timberlands Food Store in Red Deer presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for a Deli Clerk to join our dynamic team.
CAC is participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program which supports hiring youth from the ages 15 - 24.
Position: Deli Clerk
Part-time: 24 - 36 hours per week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Prepare sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, special trays, and other items
- Stock, package, slice, and label products for purchase
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Experience with food preparation is an asset; training is available
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
- Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
