Seasonal Class 1 Driver - Brandon Agro

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers during deliveries, responding to inquiries, and collaborating respectfully with Team Members to deliver a World Class Customer Experience.
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to transport fertilizer, seed, crop inputs, agricultural products, and supplies to customer locations and Heritage Co-op facilities.
- Complete deliveries accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with transportation regulations, company procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; complete required logs, reports, and delivery documentation.
- Assist with loading, securing, transporting, and unloading products while ensuring product integrity, inventory accuracy, and safe handling practices.
- Maintain vehicles and equipment by identifying and reporting maintenance concerns and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support Agro Centre operations through yard activities, inventory movement, housekeeping, and other seasonal operational duties as assigned.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following Occupational Health and Safety, TDG, WHMIS, environmental, loss prevention, and security procedures.

Education and Experience:

- High school education is considered an asset.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred.
- Experience transporting agricultural products, fertilizer, seed, or bulk commodities is considered an asset.
- Experience operating agricultural equipment, forklifts, or material handling equipment is considered an asset.
- Valid Manitoba Class 1 Driver's Licence with a satisfactory driver's abstract.
- Air Brake (Q) Endorsement is required.
- TDG Certification is considered an asset or willingness to obtain.
- WHMIS Certification is considered an asset or willingness to obtain.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends during peak seasonal periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 kg (55 lbs.).
- Requires prolonged periods of driving, sitting, loading, unloading, and entering and exiting commercial vehicles.
