Fulfillment Specialist

Job Title: Fulfillment Specialist Job Description The Fulfillment Specialist plays a key role in assembling, labeling, and shipping at-home testing kits and related materials, ensuring accurate order processing and timely delivery to customers. This position focuses on handling sensitive information with care, maintaining high productivity standards, and supporting a fast-paced fulfillment and mailroom environment. You will contribute directly to improving access to healthcare by preparing kits and orders that help people manage their health from home. Qualifications

- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours based on volume and demand, including support across fulfillment, kit creation, and lab-side tasks.

Work Environment Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing flexibility to align with your schedule. During peak project periods, mandatory overtime may be required, including approximately two hours of overtime on Saturdays, offering additional earning potential. The environment is fast-paced and productivity-focused, with clear expectations around attendance and communication. Responsibilities

- Perform daily fulfillment tasks such as labeling, hand-assembling kits, recording information, maintaining records, copying, printing, and completing similar duties using appropriate computer programs.
- Label kits with patient information accurately and verify that each kit is correct and complete before shipping to the customer.
- Fulfill mail orders while consistently meeting established productivity and quality standards.
- Pull the correct product for the correct customer and ensure it is placed in the appropriate box with the correct label.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements while handling addresses, phone numbers, and other sensitive information.
- Manage, coordinate, and fulfill customer orders, including those related to Medicare and Medicaid services.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on order fulfillment processing and act as a key resource to sales and other internal teams.
- Partner with other functions to resolve or escalate issues that may prevent on-time order fulfillment.
- Track all orders using delivery and shipping software to monitor status and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare outgoing mail for delivery by mail carriers, including sorting and organizing packages and correspondence.
- Use scanning equipment to capture information about packages and ensure accurate tracking.
- Create and apply shipping labels for outgoing packages and ensure all documentation is complete and correct.
- Support general mailroom activities such as opening, filing, sorting, and distributing mail as needed.
- Assist with inventory-related tasks, including tracking supplies and ensuring adequate stock for kit assembly and order fulfillment.
- Work flexibly across fulfillment, kit creation, and lab-side tasks as volume and demand require.
- Maintain strong attendance and communication to support team productivity and project timelines.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
