Summary / Objective

Poppy Bank Epicenter is seeking a creative, organized, and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing needs of our multi-attraction entertainment complex. This position is responsible for creating the visual and written marketing content used to promote Epicenter and its various attractions, restaurants, events, programs, and promotions. The ideal candidate is a strong graphic designer who also understands social media, email marketing, websites, and simple video production for digital marketing.

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with Epicenter leadership, marketing leadership, and department managers to ensure that promotions are communicated consistently, professionally, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Creative

- Create graphics for Poppy Bank Epicenter and its various departments, attractions, restaurants, events, leagues, programs, and promotions.

- Design digital and print materials including social media graphics, digital signage, flyers, posters, menus, promotional materials, event graphics, web graphics, and email graphics.

- Maintain consistent branding and visual standards across all Epicenter marketing.

- Resize and adapt creative assets for different platforms and uses.

- Coordinate with outside printers, vendors, photographers, or other creative resources when necessary.

Social Media & Digital Content

- Create and publish marketing posts across Epicenter's social media channels, typically three or more per week, based on business needs.

- Develop graphics, photography, captions, promotional messaging, and simple video content for social media and other digital marketing channels.

- Create and edit simple short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, website content, digital advertising, and other digital marketing uses.

- Capture basic video footage around Epicenter as needed, including attractions, food and beverage, events, promotions, guest experiences, and behind-the-scenes content.

- Add basic editing elements such as text, captions, music, transitions, logos, and calls to action.

- Maintain a regular content calendar highlighting attractions, food and beverage, events, promotions, leagues, parties, and other Epicenter activities.

- Identify opportunities for timely and engaging content based on events, holidays, sports, community activities, and trends.

- Assist with responding to and engaging with the Epicenter social media community as needed.

Email Marketing

- Draft and prepare marketing emails, typically one or more every two weeks, based on business needs.

- Create the graphics and promotional content included in each email.

- Coordinate with management to identify the most important offers, events, attractions, and announcements to feature.

- Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and calls to action.

- Assist with maintaining and growing Epicenter's marketing email database.

Website Management

- Maintain and update the Poppy Bank Epicenter website, Red Eye Barbecue website, and Sports City website.

- Ensure hours, pricing, promotions, events, menus, leagues, programs, attraction information, and other guest-facing information remain accurate and current across all websites.

- Create and update landing pages and promotional content as needed.

- Post new events, promotions, menus, programs, announcements, and seasonal content in a timely manner.

- Regularly review all three websites for outdated information, broken links, formatting issues, or other needed improvements.

- Maintain consistent branding and messaging across each website while preserving the individual identity of Epicenter, Red Eye Barbecue, and Sports City.

- Coordinate larger website changes with outside vendors or developers when necessary.

General Marketing Support

- Assist with marketing campaigns for Epicenter attractions, events, restaurants, leagues, group sales, birthday parties, and other business initiatives.

- Support marketing for Epicenter's individual concepts and brands as assigned.

- Assist with photography and video creation for marketing campaigns and promotions.

- Help develop promotional ideas designed to increase attendance, awareness, engagement, and revenue.

- Assist with special events, community promotions, public relations, influencer outreach, and other marketing initiatives.

- Maintain organized files of marketing assets, photography, video, logos, templates, and completed creative projects.

- Perform other marketing-related duties and projects as assigned.

Work Environment

This job operates in a building wide capacity. This role may routinely use electrical equipment, sharp knives, and other potentially dangerous equipment. Proper training will be given prior to using any dangerous equipment. Employees in this role may be exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, and cleaning chemicals.

Physical Demands

The employee may be required to stand 100% of their shift, climb or balance; and stoop or kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, using proper lifting procedures.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- Strong graphic design skills and a demonstrated ability to produce professional marketing materials.

- Experience with graphic design platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar programs.

- Ability to create and edit simple short-form marketing videos using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Express, or similar programs.

- Comfortable capturing basic photo and video content using a smartphone or camera.

- Experience updating and maintaining websites.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with managers throughout the organization.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced entertainment and hospitality environment.

- The Marketing Coordinator works primarily during the daytime; however, there will be occasions where the incumbent needs to work other shifts. Available to work all shifts: days, nights, weekends and holidays, as necessary.

- Has the ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with many distractions.

- Has the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

- Has the ability to move around the facility and walk or stand 100% of the shift.

- Has the ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and clean frequently.

- Possess strong organizational and decision-making skills.

- Work well in fast-paced setting.

- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.

- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

- Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingual a plus.
