As a Logistics Coordinator within the engineering team, you will support logistics
processes that enable engineering. This includes ensuring reliable material flow, maintaining
efficient warehouse operations, and supporting engineering activities through structured and
scalable logistics solutions.
The role requires close collaboration with engineering, facility operations, and supply chain teams
to ensure material availability, process reliability, and alignment with project timelines.
- Plan, organize, execute, and track the logistics movements of recycling shipments, external warehouse shipments, and daily outbound shipments, including trailer movements in the yard
- Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure proper material is loaded on correct assets and ensure system is updated accurately in a timely fashion
- Manage scrap crate inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring proper storage and handling
- Documentation and Compliance: Preparing shipping documents, customs paperwork, and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Problem-Solving: Addressing logistical issues promptly to prevent disruptions
- Ensuring Safety and Quality: Following safety protocols and quality standards in logistics processes
- Reporting: Preparing reports on logistics activities, costs, and efficiency metrics
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing or material flow preferably within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
- Understanding of warehouse operations, material flow, and inventory management
- Experience with logistics systems
- Familiarity with TMS, WMS, or similar logistics tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Effective communication skills in English; Dutch language skills are a plus
