We're partnering with a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering practice that is growing rapidly and needs a technically strong Architectural Designer / Job Captain who enjoys being hands-on in production, coordination, and project execution. This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to work on meaningful projects, collaborate directly with architects and engineers, and take ownership of project deliverables while continuing to develop technically. The team supports a diverse portfolio of institutional, public-sector, healthcare, education, industrial, commercial, and technically complex facilities.

What You'll Do

- Develop and coordinate architectural drawing packages in Revit
- Produce construction documents from design development through permit and construction phases
- Coordinate directly with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and consultants
- Help assemble and manage multidisciplinary drawing sets
- Resolve coordination issues and support technical problem-solving
- Participate in project meetings, site investigations, and field coordination efforts
- Review consultant markups and incorporate project revisions
- Support project startup activities and project execution efforts
- Work across a variety of project types and facility environments
- Remain hands-on in technical production while contributing to overall project delivery

What We're Looking For

Required

- Strong Revit production experience
- Construction document experience
- Experience assembling and coordinating complete drawing packages
- Architectural consulting-firm experience
- Experience coordinating with engineers and external consultants
- Ability to identify and resolve multidisciplinary coordination issues
- Strong knowledge of building design and construction documentation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred

- Registration in progress or pursuing licensure
- NCARB path underway
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud experience
- Construction Administration experience
- Field investigation and site observation experience
- Healthcare, laboratory, higher education, industrial, institutional, federal, or public-sector project experience
- Experience supporting technically complex projects
- AutoCAD experience

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $72.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
