About this role

The Role

Electrified Thermal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Marketing to own the company's voice end to end: product marketing that converts Europe's industrial-heat pain into qualified pipeline, corporate marketing that builds executive voices in front of named investors and customers, and management of external agencies to countable monthly deliverables. We seek a candidate with a track record of building a marketing strategy in a technical, industrial category and then personally executing against it. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable setting the message house, calendar, and measurement framework as writing the byline, briefing the reporter, and editing the agency's draft the same afternoon.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating as our first marketing hire in a start-up/high-growth environment and bring a flexible, positive attitude as they do what it takes to make Electrified Thermal the defining voice in industrial electrification.

- Reports to: Vice President, Business Development

- Location: Boston-area hybrid preferred (Charlestown HQ)

- Travel: up to 15%, primarily Europe

What you will do

- Own the plan. Execute and evolve our marketing plan: message house, channel cadence, 18-month calendar keyed to EU industrial-decarbonization funding deadlines and the category's flagship conference stages.

- Run product marketing. Vertical content for target industry segments – chemicals, cement and minerals, steel, mining; lead-generation tools - from launch through nurture to sales handoff; case studies, webinars, sales enablement, partner co-marketing kits.

- Run corporate marketing. Executive thought leadership program for our executive team; podcast and speaking-slot booking; a steady awards program; analyst and press relationships across climate-tech, national/global business and EU trade media.

- Manage agencies. Hold our public relations agency and specialist vendors to clear monthly deliverables; run an AI-assisted content pipeline (drafting, monitoring, localization, repurposing); and enforce a 48-hour co-publication standard so partner news is amplified while it is still news.

- Own measurement. Publish the monthly executive dashboard: placements, category share of voice, LinkedIn growth/engagement, lead generation tool MQLs, podcasts, awards, EU coverage.

- Support capital formation. Partner with the VP of Finance so investor-facing narrative stays current for investor and project-finance conversations.
