The Senior Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring apparel products meet customer quality standards throughout the production process, from pre-production through final inspection. The role works closely with factories, merchandising, and cross-functional teams to identify quality risks, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective actions. The position requires strong technical expertise in washed garments, particularly heavy and complex washing programs, with the ability to assess washing results, garment construction, workmanship, measurements, appearance, and overall product quality.
- Manage and monitor product quality from pre-production through bulk production and final inspection.
- Conduct pre-production, in-line, and final quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications, approved samples, and quality standards.
- Assess fabric, garment construction, workmanship, measurements, and finished product quality.
- Provide technical and QA support to factories and merchandising teams to prevent, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues.
- Identify quality risks, perform root-cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions with factories.
- Communicate quality issues, tolerance requirements, and corrective actions clearly and promptly to relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with merchandising and other cross-functional teams throughout the production process.
- Drive continuous improvement of quality standards and QA processes.
