JOB Summary
- Responsible for ensuring quality and compliance across the fabrication, assembly, inspection, and repair of Top Drive, Catwalk, Casing Drive, and other drilling equipment and related systems.
- Performs welding inspections, reviews WPS documentation, coordinates with vendors, and prepares technical and quality reports.
- Supports API Q1 audits, root cause investigations, corrective actions, supplier quality activities, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications / SKILLS
- Diploma or degree in relevant technical or engineering discipline
- Relevant QA/QC inspection experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or repair
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings, inspection methods, quality documentation, and applicable industry standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in welding inspection, NDT, or other relevant QA/QC disciplines
- Experience with API Q1, ISO 9001, or other applicable quality management standards
- Previous experience in oilfield, drilling, or heavy equipment manufacturing/repair

- Ability to perform and document incoming, in-process, final, and equipment repair inspections
Physical requirements/working conditions
- Able to work in workshop and field environments
- Physically able to perform routine inspections and wear required PPE
- Flexible for site visits and travel when required
