About this role
Essential Functions:
- Ensure cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance and effective supervision of manufacturing shopfloor operations
- Drive operational excellence (OPEX – Operational Excellence) initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction
- Lead continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing in OSD (Oral Solid Dosage), and Six Sigma projects
- Monitor and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), cycle time, and throughput across manufacturing lines
- Improve manufacturing cycle time to drive faster turnaround and higher responsiveness
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes to enhance operational performance
- Implement AI and digital initiatives to improve operational efficiency
- Assess systems and identify automation opportunities in plant processes
- Support cost-saving projects across manpower, material, and machine utilization
- Develop detailed project plans covering scope, timeline, and budget
- Coordinate with CFTs for smooth execution of digital and excellence projects
- Track KPIs to measure performance improvement and cost benefits
- Support operational, quality, and training excellence initiatives through IT enablement
Additional Responsibilities:
- The role involves ensuring CGMP compliance and supervision activity in manufacturing shopfloor.
- Monitoring Granulation process and machine operation.
- Monitoring inventory.
- Training to shopfloor people.
- Production planning.
Education:
- B. Pharm B. Pharm - Required
- M. Pharm M. Pharm - Preferred
Experience:
- 15 years or more in 15+ Years
