Project: Food Street Business

Skills Required:

- Problem Solving: Ability to identify and solve challenges faced by street food vendors that can directly impact on their revenue
- Field Work: Comfortable on fieldwork, actively engaging with street food vendors to understand their needs and challenges
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Kannada, especially in the context of engaging street food vendors.
- Office Work: Competent in handling office tasks related to online platform facilitation, documentation, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

- Vendor Onboarding: Identify and onboard eligible street food vendors in designated areas by building rapport and explaining the benefits of the program
- Field Support & Relationship Building: Maintain regular visits to assigned vendors to understand their needs, provide guidance, and build long-term trust.
- Offline Intervention Execution: Implement suitable offline support activities (e.g., branding, Marketing) to help vendors grow their business.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor vendor progress, gather feedback, and submit timely field reports to the program team for review and planning.

Qualifications:

- 2 years of experience in the development sector or a related field is preferable.
- Proficient in Kannada language (verbal).
- Empathetic communication and interpersonal skills, especially in engaging with street food vendors.
- Comfortable working in both field and office environments.
- Possession of a two-wheeler and legal driver's license.
- Located in Bengaluru or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
