What success looks like in this role:

• Gains familiarity with and applies Software Engineering and Agile concepts, practices and methodologies.
• With guidance, performs standard Software Engineering duties for an assigned team; duties may include:
o Serving as a participating member of teams tasked to develop, improve and delivery product / system elements and features,
o Developing software components and writing unit and system tests to provide coverage for common code paths,
o Identifying and automating manual tasks,
o Evaluating and responding to bug submissions,
o Ensuring application of secure coding practices, and
o Along with more senior colleagues conducting performance testing and identifying / resolving uncovered issues.
• Learns and applies industry and company Software Engineering standards, policies and guidelines.
• Participates in special projects as assigned.

Fresher – Azure Cloud Integration / iPaaS Engineer

Cloud & Application Team  |  Full-Time, Entry Level (0–1 Years)

We're hiring freshers and recent graduates to join our Cloud and Application team as Azure Cloud Integration / iPaaS Engineers. This is a full-time, entry-level role for candidates with strong technical fundamentals and a genuine interest in cloud integration. You'll go through a structured onboarding and training program covering Azure integration tools and practices, then work alongside experienced architects and engineers to design, build, and support real integration solutions for our clients — with mentorship and guidance every step of the way.

Skills & Background We're Looking For

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Solid understanding of programming fundamentals in at least one language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts; exposure to Microsoft Azure through coursework, certification, or personal projects is a strong plus
- Working knowledge of web services and APIs (REST/SOAP) and JSON
- Understanding of database fundamentals (SQL) and basic data structures
- Awareness of messaging concepts (queues, pub/sub) is a plus, but not required
- Understanding of SDLC or Agile fundamentals is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly, and to work in a fast-paced client-facing environment
- Basic knowledge of Git/version control is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

- Integration Development Design, build, and unit-test integration components on Azure's cloud-native platform (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management), under the guidance of senior engineers
- Translate documented requirements and design specifications into working integration flows
- Write clean, maintainable code and follow the team's coding and documentation standards

- Testing & Quality Perform functional and integration testing of the components you build
- Support defect triage, root-cause analysis, and fixes for issues identified in testing or production

- Operations & Support Participate in production support rotations, monitoring integration jobs and messages, and resolving lower-severity issues with escalation support as needed
- Help maintain runbooks, technical documentation, and knowledge-base articles

- Continuous Learning Complete assigned training modules and work toward relevant Azure certifications within your first year
- Stay current on new Azure integration features and share learnings with the team

- Collaboration Participate actively in stand-ups, sprint planning, code reviews, and team knowledge-sharing sessions
- Work closely with architects, senior developers, and QA to understand end-to-end delivery

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's/Master's degree completed (or final semester) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 0–1 years of professional experience — this is an entry-level, fresher-friendly role
- Available to join full-time and willing to complete the required onboarding/training period
- Open to working in rotational shifts or on-call/support rotations as needed by the team
- Legally authorized to work in the job location, and open to relocation if required

Good to Have

- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification
- Personal, academic, or hackathon projects involving APIs, automation, or cloud services
- Exposure to CI/CD concepts or tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git)
- Exposure to messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, MSMQ, IBM MQ, AWS SQS) through coursework or projects

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
