Internship - Test Technology and Innovation Final Test

The student will be part of the Test Technology Team (TTI FT DMS) and will be supervised by an assigned engineer mentor. During the internship, the student will assist in Test Technology development projects related to the Final Test process, including the development, evaluation, and implementation of new test tools and materials to support and improve Digital and Power Final Test manufacturing capabilities.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

- Test Technology Qualification: Collaborate with Testcell engineers to qualify and release new test technology solutions, focusing on test equipment, loadboards, and test sockets.
- Metrology & Tolerancing: Apply GD&T approaches to analyze package testability relative to test hardware design, conducting metrology and mechanical tolerancing studies.
- Simulation & Design: Perform simulation studies and generate detailed engineering drawings in both 2D and 3D formats.
- Hardware Design Support: Assist engineers in the hardware design, evaluation, and implementation processes for production use.
- Documentation: Prepare necessary technical documentation to ensure a smooth and successful production handover.
- General Support: Handle other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned by the engineering mentor.

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Work Environment: Demonstrates willingness to learn and work within a final test production line environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Possesses a basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and principles.
- CAD/CAE Skills: Proficient in Computer-Aided Design and Engineering applications such as Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
- Technical Fundamentals: Strong command of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design principles, machine elements, GD&T, and fabrication methods.
