Generic professional competencies
- Experience from working as a Project Officer or similar position in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
- Fluency in local languages, English both written and verbal
- Expect to abide by office rules, regulations and policies within NRC
Context related skills, knowledge and experience
- At least 3 years’ experience working in Education in Emergencies (EiE) or education programming in conflict-affected, displacement or other crisis contexts.
- Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university
- Ability to use digital tools for communication, monitoring, data collection and programme reporting.
- Experience with managing budgets and staff
- Flexible, creative and co-operative
