Job Summary

Your Career:

We are seeking a Staff Software Automation Engineer (SDET) to join our Identity Authentication engineering team and drive the modernization of mission-critical authentication domains. In this role, you will define automation strategy, build scalable test infrastructure, and empower teams to deliver secure, high-quality SaaS services. Combining deep software engineering expertise with quality engineering leadership, you will own the automation architecture and influence best practices. Your work will significantly improve testability, reliability, and delivery velocity across our Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform.

Your Impact

- Define and execute the automation strategy for mission-critical Identity services and domains.
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Own quality engineering infrastructure, providing development teams with optimized tools and frameworks.
- Drive engineering excellence by improving test coverage, CI/CD integration, and quality gates.
- Lead complex debugging and root-cause analysis across distributed, cloud-native environments.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Security to enhance product quality and delivery.
- Mentor engineers to foster a culture of automation, technical ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Implement AI-driven approaches to optimize testing efficiency and overall engineering productivity.

Qualifications

Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, SDET, or quality engineering roles.
- Proven experience designing and building automation frameworks and infrastructure at scale.
- Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar languages.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation architecture, and quality engineering principles.
- Excellent technical communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Your Experience

- Experience with AWS and cloud-native SaaS platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK, Terraform).
- Experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright.
- Experience with performance, scalability, and resilience testing.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts (SSO, OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, RBAC/ABAC).
- Experience working in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS environments.
- Experience building end-to-end features using models from AI providers like OpenAI or Anthropic.
