Implementation Engineer

What you will do

As a Technical Implementation Engineer, you will support the technical delivery of customer implementations and workplace technology solutions. Working with Technical Specialists and Project teams, you will complete software installations, system configurations, data migrations, troubleshooting activities, and technical support throughout the implementation lifecycle.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in enterprise software, infrastructure technologies, system integrations, and customer-facing technical consulting while contributing to successful customer outcomes.

How you will do it

Technical Delivery & Support

·         Complete the installation, configuration, and deployment of workplace and employee business software solutions.

·         Troubleshoot software, server, authentication, and integration issues during customer implementations.

·         Complete data migrations and data validation activities as part of project delivery.

·         Support testing activities to ensure solutions are configured and operating correctly before deployment.

·         Document technical issues, resolutions, and project activities accurately.

Customer Engagement

·         Work with customers and internal teams to understand technical requirements and business needs.

·         Participate in customer meetings and provide implementation updates when required.

·         Assist customers with system setup, user adoption, and technical queries.

·         Build positive relationships with customers through responsive and professional support.

Project Collaboration

·         Collaborate with Project Managers, Consultants, other Technical Specialists, and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

·         Contribute to project documentation, technical procedures, and knowledge-sharing activities.

·         Escalate risks, issues, or technical challenges to senior team members in a timely manner.

·         Support project milestones and deadlines through effective organisation and prioritisation.

Continuous Learning & Improvement

·         Develop technical expertise across company solutions, implementation processes, and supporting technologies.

·         Participate in training, certifications, and professional development opportunities.

·         Learn implementation best practices and contribute ideas for improving delivery processes.

·         Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.

·         Assist with the other product implementations.

Technical Knowledge of:

·         Internet Information Services

·         Microsoft SQL Server

·         Creating SQL Scripts (Microsoft)

·         Data migration experience

·         Experience with SAML authentication

·         Software Installation

·         Server configuration

·         Microsoft Outlook
