Analyst

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Research Analyst to support Trinity’s Evidence, Value, Access, and Pricing (EVAP) teams with research activities spanning several adjacent areas: Payer / HTA and pricing analysis, life science- related landscape research, targeted and systematic literature review, and research relating to value dossier development.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of global pricing and market access with a particular (but not exclusive) focus on health technology assessment (HTA)

• Analyze and extract data and insights from global HTA reports. Update Trinity’s HTA Vision tool accordingly, and create summary slides as required

•      Scan new HTA reports, draft alerts and upload new reports into the tool

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the quality and accuracy of all deliverables. This may involve providing training, support and guidance to junior colleagues, performing careful quality control and review

• Conduct US payer coverage/policy analysis, understanding US payer nuances (e.g., prior authorization and tier status) and related access considerations; extraction of key utilization management criteria from payer policies

•      Support stakeholders to conduct US and ex-US pricing research activities as required

• Conduct life science-related secondary research activities as required including analysis of epidemiology sources, clinical literature, treatment guidelines, and product reimbursement sources across key markets. Draw from these to develop treatment algorithms and treatment practice and other summaries

•      Perform literature searching from multiple databases, including PubMed and EMBASE

•      Use research findings to contribute to value dossier development or other landscape analyses

•      Assist in the development of primary research instruments

• Synthesize research findings into slides, including development of insights, hypotheses, recommendations and visualizations

•      Develop logical, clear, and visually impactful communication materials

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain records for all assigned projects including archiving

•      Complete training as required

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree with high academic achievement and demonstrable interest in life sciences

•      3-5 years’ research experience in consulting, life sciences or related fields

•      Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PPT, and Excel)

•      Ability to use PubMed/ Medline, Google Scholar, and/or other literature research platforms

•      Experience of systematic review methods and clinical research design

• Knowledge and understanding of pricing and access systems and HTAs in Europe, USA, and other global markets

•      Excellent analytical skills and numeric capability

•      Ability to understand, interpret and communicate scientific content

•      Strong oral and written communication skills in English language

•      Strong team player, ability to work with cross-functional staff

•      Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
