Application Production Support Technician

This is your mission

Are you passionate about application support, production environments, and financial systems? Then this position is for you.

As an Application Production Support Technician , you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical trading, risk, and P&L applications. Working within a global support organization, you will act as a key point of contact between business users, infrastructure teams, and development teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and rapid incident resolution.

Build side:

- Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of production support processes.
- Analyze change requests and coordinate application releases.
- Assist in validating application connectivity, performance, and security controls.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support monitoring framework enhancements and alerting strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application supportability.
- Contribute to knowledge management and operational documentation.

Run side:

- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for business-critical applications.
- Monitor application health and proactively identify potential issues.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within agreed service levels.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventative actions.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problem records through ServiceNow.
- Support production releases and deployment activities.
- Coordinate with global support teams to ensure continuous service coverage.
- Produce post-incident reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Participate in on-call and production support rotations when required.

This is your background

You have experience supporting business-critical applications within complex production environments.

You are comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where responsiveness, reliability, and service quality are essential. Experience within financial services, trading systems, risk platforms, or investment banking environments will be highly appreciated.

- Knowledge of P&L and Risk Reporting processes
- Understanding of trade lifecycle concepts
- Experience supporting Front Office or Middle Office users
- Exposure to global follow-the-sun support models

Contract: Permanent contract

Remote work: Hybrid (50%)

Salary: From 28 K€ to 40 K€ (depending on experience) gross annual salary
