What the People Strategy and Culture department does at Worldwide
As a member of the People Strategy and Culture department, the People Services Specialist I is responsible for delivering operational and transactional support throughout the employee lifecycle. Daily activities include maintaining employee data within the HCM system, acting as first point of contact for support related to benefits and leave administration in line with local requirements, and facilitating remuneration processes in collaboration with internal and external partners.
The People Services Specialist I serves as a key resource for the global People team, Leaders, and global employees, offering exceptional customer service whilst following global compliance regulation
What you will do
- Maintains data accuracy within HCM system, ensuring timely information entry and management.
- Support with employment life cycle activities, including provision and storage of personal documentation.
- Support with global employment registration & deregistration activities.
- Receive requests for separations (voluntary and involuntary), analyzes the requests, and processes and creates separation packages, as appropriate.
- Provide Benefits Administration and Leave Administration, as per documented local requirements.
- Serve as a resource for policy and process related workforce management transactional questions from People Business Partners, Managers and other People Strategy and Culture team members.
- Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for all core People Services activities and in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
- Participate in the evaluation of existing processes and recommendation of new approaches to drive continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Manage employee data for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Support renumeration processes with internal and external partners.
- Provide on-site support, as required.
What you will bring to the role
- Knowledge of concepts, policies, and procedures related to HR workforce and benefits.
- Ability to perform complex tasks under minimal supervision, with some degree of latitude and creativity.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local and country processes.
- Ability to use judgment in data and demonstrate capability to think critically.
- Ability to organize files, records, and documents.
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and outside contacts.
- Attention to detail, and comfortability handling payroll data.
- Follow compliance regulations.
- Comfortable following procedures and highlighting areas of improvement.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and able to create productive and effective relationships.
- Experience with Workday (HCM).
Your experience
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in an administrative or support capacity required OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to navigate and leverage collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR, Compensation and/or benefit certifications preferred.
