Fine Fragrance Stability and Application Lab Specialist - Your future position?

As the Fine Fragrance Stability and Application Lab Specialist with Givaudan, you will manage stability testing for fragrance formulations and finished product applications, identify potential risks, and provide technical recommendations to ensure product stability, compatibility, and performance.

Main Responsibilities:

- Design, launch, monitor and evaluate stability studies on fragrance formulations and finished product applications
- Assess physical, chemical, and organoleptic stability under various storage conditions.
- Anticipate formulation risks and identify potential instability mechanisms before commercial launch
- Provide recommendations to improve product robustness, compatibility, and shelf-life
- Interpret analytical and observational results and communicate conclusions effectively to stakeholders
- Work alongside with Technical Lab Manager to support perfumes and clients with formulation optimization and stabilization strategies

Project Management:

- Manage stability-related activities for multiple development projects simultaneously
- Coordinate testing plans, timelines, laboratory activities and reporting
- Ensure timely communication of results and recommendations to project teams
- Participate in development project meetings and contribute scientific expertise throughout the product lifecycle

Your professional profile includes:

Primary Qualifications:

- Diploma or Degree in Perfumery, Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant laboratory or technical experience, preferably within fragrance, cosmetics, personal care, or a related industry
- Able to perform visual and colour assessments required for stability evaluation
- Comfortable working with fragrances and soap/surfactant-based products

Functional Skills & Competencies:

- Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills
- Adaptable and eager to learn, with the flexibility to work across different environments and teams
- Strong laboratory safety awareness and ability to follow established safety procedures
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple testing activities and timelines
- Good communication skills to clearly share observations, results, and recommendations
