Job Summary:
The Warehouse associate will coordinate the activities and operations of the warehouse. Repeatedly lift, load, and offload light metal products, windows, and doors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- General Shop Labor.
- Loading/offloading light metal products and windows.
- Assembly of our metal shutter products (some hand drilling using air drill is required).
- Working on production line and meeting production targets
- Directs forklift drivers as needed.
- Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
- Occasional local deliveries to job sites using company vehicle .
- Occasional pick up of supplies at local vendors using company vehicle .
- Shop cleaning and organization as needed.
- Performs other related duties as directed .
- Operate company vehicles as needed.
- Make deliveries as needed.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Ability to pass background check.
- Positive attitude.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License Valid Driver’s License .
- Two years of work experience in a warehouse/manufacturing preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to move around the warehouse.
