Pay: $20–$24/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–3:00 PM; Friday, 5:30 AM–9:30 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Machine Set-Up Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on machine setup and changeover experience who is comfortable working with dies, disassembling and reassembling equipment, and preparing machines for production.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment to ensure smooth production.

Responsibilities

- Set up and prepare manufacturing machinery for production
- Perform machine changeovers between different products or production runs
- Safely disassemble and reassemble machine components as needed
- Install, remove, and work with dies and related tooling
- Make machine adjustments to maintain proper production specifications
- Inspect equipment and tooling before and after setup
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and setup issues
- Ensure machines are running properly and efficiently
- Follow established safety procedures and production requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate equipment or production issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel
- Perform other manufacturing and machine setup duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Previous hands-on machine setup or machine changeover experience required
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with dies, tooling, or machine components
- Comfortable taking machines apart and putting them back together
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
