HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is hiring Unarmed Security Officers in the Wilmington area. All shifts are available with a starting rate of pay of $17/hour, paid weekly.

Job Requirements

· Strong Communication & Customer Service Skills
Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and emergency personnel while maintaining a calm and helpful demeanor.

· Attention to Detail & Access Control
Ability to accurately verify visitors, follow established gatehouse procedures, monitor vehicle traffic, use visitor-management systems, and recognize situations that require additional verification or supervisor assistance.

· Multitasking & Situational Awareness
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once, including processing visitors, answering phones, monitoring gates and cameras, communicating with residents, and maintaining awareness of activity around the gatehouse—especially during high-traffic periods.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
