Mission
Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services required for manufacturing operations, balancing cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity while supporting business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships for assigned categories.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
- Monitor supplier performance and mitigate supply risks.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data in SAP.
- Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities through market and supplier analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support production, new product launches, and supply chain initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and sustainability requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
- Automotive industry experience preferred.
- Strong supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, and contract management skills.
- SAP proficiency and advanced Excel skills.
- Good understanding of manufacturing, material planning, and supply chain processes.
- Fluent German and English.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
