Operations Manager

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee warehousing operations at Metro Park Warehouses.

Salary : $65,000.00 annually

Shift time : 6am-2:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities

- Strategically manage warehouse in alignment with company policies and vision

- Manage and oversee all receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations

- Manage the storage and distribution of warehouse goods

- Utilize the warehouse space and environment to achieve maximum efficiency

- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures

- Maintain safety and industry standards to ensure that products are dispatched and delivered safely and efficiently

- Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment by warehouse employees

- Assures that customer accounts receive prompt, efficient service from the office and warehouse staff.

- Actively participate in recruiting, selecting, coaching, and motivating employees

Qualifications

- 5-10+ years of warehouse management experience required

- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls

- Ability to operate forklift effectively

- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

- Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

- Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
- Display solid working knowledge of standard computer applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
