Your role

Our 'Outstanding' nursery school is looking for a highly skilled and motivated class teacher, with QTS. You should be confident to manage and lead a team of Early Years Educators within your class.

Your responsibilities

You will teach in the nursery school with children aged between two and five. You will meet the requirements of an excellent class teacher. You will be responsible for developing and implementing planning for learning and development, in partnership with colleagues, in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. This involves helping to organise and develop the nursery learning environment and resources in order to facilitate learning on a day-to-day basis.

As nursery teacher you will foster the understanding, social and communication skills of the children and develop and maintain relationships with parents/guardians to further support pupils and raise attainment for all children. You will record observations and summarise the children's achievements, focussing on optimum child development and preparation for a successful transition to primary school education and life.
