Car Rental Agent
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Car Rental Agent to join our rental department at our dealership. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable using computers, and can manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with rental inquiries
- Make and manage vehicle rental reservations
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Complete rental agreements and other required paperwork
- Review rental contracts and explain rental terms and policies to customers
- Assist customers with vehicle pick-up and return
- Maintain accurate rental records and customer information
- Coordinate vehicle availability and rental schedules
- Handle multiple customers and tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working with computers and learning rental software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Previous car rental, automotive, dealership, or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
