As a Carpenter, you'll work from blueprints, drawings, and direction from our Lead Carpenters and Project Managers to bring residential remodeling projects to life — from framing through finish work. It's hands-on, varied work, and every project is a chance to sharpen your craft.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Carpentry Tasks
- Complete and assist with tasks such as framing, installation of doors and windows, trim work, cabinetry, flooring, and other structural or finishing elements
- Utilize hand tools, machines, and power tools
- Work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions, ensuring adherence
- Follow safety protocols and keep the worksite clean and organized
Collaboration
- Understand project requirements, timelines, and budgets
- Interpret specifications in project scope, sketches, or building plans to assist with project layout and determine dimensions and required materials
- Effectively communicate with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and other personnel to provide project updates, address concerns, and resolve issues
Project Documentation
- Complete progress reports, work logs, and material records
- Communicate change orders and submit reimbursement requests in accordance with applicable policies
- Accurately input timekeeping information to ensure correct job costing
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of experience in carpentry preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal training in carpentry or drafting/blueprint reading, and trade certifications, are a plus
- Solid understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- A detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality
