Job Responsibilities
Own product vision, strategy, multiyear roadmap, business cases, and investment priorities for
sales technology capabilities aligned with sales-growth objectives.
Translate seller and business needs into scalable product capabilities, technical and analytical
requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics.
Lead products through discovery, user research, design, Agile delivery, quality assurance,
launch, adoption, measurement, iteration, and continuous improvement.
Partner closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Data, Technology, Privacy, Security,
Compliance, engineering teams, and external clients to identify unresolved business needs and
prioritize value.
Own or guide enterprise CRM and adjacent sales technologies, including integrations, APIs,
data models, analytics, workflow automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Use customer research, usage data, experimentation, and sales-performance metrics to
prioritize investments and make informed product tradeoffs.
Work with engineers and partners to define requirements, statements of work, scope,
estimates, timelines, supplier plans, and implementation approaches.
Evaluate whether business needs are best addressed through platform configuration,
purchased solutions, or custom-built capabilities.
Manage implementation partners, software vendors, platform evaluations, budgets, contracts,
and total cost of ownership considerations.
Lead stakeholder communication and expectation management, clearly explaining technical
concepts to non-technical audiences and influencing across organizational boundaries.
Drive launch readiness, training, communications, adoption, feedback loops, and change
management; coach junior product managers or business analysts where applicable.
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in sales technology product management in an enterprise sales setting;
the original role profile specifies 5-7 years of software lifecycle development experience.
Demonstrated experience developing product strategies, multiyear roadmaps, business cases,
and investment priorities.
Deep understanding of B2B sales processes, including prospecting, account planning,
opportunity and pipeline management, forecasting, sales engagement, and win/loss analysis.
Experience owning Salesforce Sales Cloud or a comparable enterprise CRM platform.
Senior Product Manager | Combined Job Description
Experience with sales technologies such as Salesforce Agentforce, Outreach, Salesloft,
LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, sales enablement platforms, or similar products.
Proven delivery of complex cross-functional products involving CRM, data, analytics, AI,
integrations, and workflow automation.
Experience working closely with engineers and leading software products from inception
through launch and iteration in an Agile environment.
Experience managing products for external stakeholders and working with external partners in
a product management capacity.
Key Skills
Strong product vision, strategy, roadmap development, portfolio prioritization, discovery, user
research, process design, and value-based prioritization.
Ability to connect product investments to pipeline growth, win rates, forecast accuracy, salescycle time, seller productivity, CRM adoption, and other measurable outcomes.
Strong technical fluency in CRM architecture, integrations, APIs, data models, analytics,
automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
Strong analytical and financial skills, including business-case development, benefits
measurement, experimentation, and total-cost-of-ownership analysis.
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, executive communication,
collaboration, and consensus-building skills.
Ability to balance competing priorities, make well-reasoned tradeoffs, and synthesize input
from engineers, designers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Strong change-management capabilities covering launch planning, training, communications,
adoption, and feedback loops.
Sound judgment regarding data quality, responsible AI, privacy, security, and regulatory
requirements.
Design-minded, user-focused, empathetic, data-driven, and attentive to human-centered user
experience.
