About this role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for leading new product launches, developing manufacturing processes and equipment
- Managing project costs and schedules
- Implementing new technologies to support production.
- Responsible for a wide range of engineering activities to include assuming the project lead role in the implementation of new products from the quotation stage to implementation through the management of the APQP process.
- Accountable for developing and maintaining project budgets for new product implementation.
- Development of jigs and machinery for new products and utilizing CAD or outside resources to ensure customer schedules are met.
- Investigation and development of new technologies for implementation into production.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, industrial or other related engineering discipline
- 0-3 years relevant experience
- Good written, verbal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated competency in working with computer software and mainframe applications to manipulate, analyze and reconcile data
- Excellent customer service skills with an ability to approach every business relationship partnership
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to independently evaluate and develop innovative solutions to complex situations, applying knowledge of specialty area and use of sound judgment
- Ability to resolve difficult or complicated situations
- Working knowledge in MS Office Programs - MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Kaizen mindset
- Ability to effectively apply the PDCA process

Annual Salary: $70,000 - $88,000
