1. Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, sales managers and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead regular business reviews, performance meetings, and service-level discussions.
- Resolve escalations, negotiate solutions, and ensure proactive communication throughout the maintenance lifecycle.
2. Contract Management & Commercial Governance
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including negotiation, execution, compliance, and renewal.
- Ensure all commercial agreements are aligned with operational capabilities and financial targets.
- Monitor contract performance, KPIs, penalties, and revenue leakage, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate billing, forecasting, and margin management.
3. Business Development & Growth Strategy
- Identify and collaborate with sales team to leverage new business opportunities within existing and new customer portfolios.
- Develop commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and tender responses for MRO services.
- Conduct market analysis to understand competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging trends.
- Support strategic partnerships, alliances, and capability expansion initiatives.
4. Leadership of Customer Services, Materials & Stores
- Lead and develop the Customer Services and Materials teams to ensure operational excellence and customer-centric performance.
- Drive process improvements across order management, material planning, logistics, and customer communication.
- Ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, and efficient stores operations to support maintenance TAT (Turnaround Time).
- Implement KPIs, dashboards, and performance routines to ensure alignment with commercial and operational goals
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Lead production planning with accurate customer forecasts and commercial insights.
- Participate in internal governance forums, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial roles within MRO, aviation services, or aerospace.
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance processes, material management, and MRO commercial models.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, customer relationship management, and commercial strategy.
- Leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with EASA/FAA regulatory environments.
Desirable
- MBA or advanced business qualification.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRO systems.
