As a Senior Compliance Advisor, you will play a key role in the development and evolution of the compliance programs for iA Auto and Home Insurance and Prysm General Insurance. Working closely with the team and the second line of defense, you will help ensure the effective management of legal and regulatory risks while providing stakeholders with a comprehensive view of the organization's risk profile.

What You’ll Accomplish with Us

As a Senior Compliance Advisor, you will be at the heart of our mission. Key responsibilities include:

- Support the Sector Compliance Manager in implementing and enhancing legal and regulatory risk management programs.
- Contribute to the application of regulatory requirements, applicable legislation, and guidelines issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) .
- Develop a comprehensive view of compliance risks and contribute to the creation of the organization's risk profile.
- Design and monitor indicators used to identify non-compliance issues and significant risks.
- Advise and support various business sectors in managing legal and regulatory risks and deploying compliance programs.
- Assist stakeholders during regulatory changes by assessing impacts and recommending necessary actions.
- Contribute to reporting activities, regulatory risk assessments related to projects, and the development of action plans resulting from incidents or non-compliance issues.
- Serve as a resource person for the team and represent the organization on various committees, working groups, and industry consultations.

What Will Help You Succeed in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

- Is recognized for their strong analytical and synthesis skills in assessing legal and regulatory risks.
- Stands out for their ability to advise and influence stakeholders in a risk management and compliance environment.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, rigor, and an objective, impartial approach.
- Is known for their collaborative mindset and ability to balance differing perspectives to move initiatives forward.
- Has 7 to 10 years of experience in property and casualty insurance or the financial services industry, including experience in a risk management-related role.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and is a member of the Bar or the Chamber of Notaries.
- Demonstrates a high level of autonomy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage priorities in an evolving environment.
- Has knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry as well as iAAH, Prysm, and iA business sectors, which would be considered an asset.
- Has an advanced level of proficiency in French.
