Compensation:
- Licensed Veterinary Technicians: $22-$30/ hr. based on experience
- Non-Credentialed Veterinary Technicians: $18-$28 / hr. based on experience
- + $3/hr. weekend differential (Friday-Sunday)
Schedule:
- Part Time Days: TBD 7:00am – 8:00pm
- (1-2) 12 Hour Shifts Weekly

Job Description:
As an Emergenc y/ ICU Veterinary Technician , you will play a vital role in providing life-saving care to pets. Your duties include:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to all hospitalized and emergency patients.
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
- Perform key technical tasks including restraint, venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, lab work, and medication administration.
- Accurately prepare and administer treatments per veterinary orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure coordinated, top-level patient care.
- Respond swiftly to STAT calls and follow emergency care protocols.
- Create treatment estimates, review plans with clients, process payments, and manage admissions/discharges.
- Communicate with clients professionally, offering empathy and clear information.
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
- Support hospital cleanliness, safety, and inventory management.
- Perform anesthesia and sedation following established protocols.
- Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Veterinary Technicians or Experienced Veterinary Technicians with at least 2 year of experience.
- Prior experience in Emergency and Critical Care is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to thrive under pressure and make informed decisions in fast-paced situations.
- A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to patient well-being.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
