Join the Allen County Public Library as a Part-Time Studio Guide in the heart of Fort Wayne, IN! This onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with the community and foster creativity in a fun, energetic environment. You'll be the go-to person for library patrons, helping them explore our innovative studio resources and unleashing their creative potential. The position offers an hourly rate of $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is 28 hours a week and is flexible, working a mix of evening and afternoon shifts on weekends and some weekdays.

Day to day

As a Part-Time Studio Guide at the Allen County Public Library, you'll have the thrilling opportunity to provide hands-on instruction to individuals and groups in cutting-edge technologies like 3D printing and digital scanning. You'll assist community organizations and groups in scheduling engaging tours and workshops that explore STEM and STEAM projects. Dive into a world of creativity as you guide participants through exciting learning experiences using tools from the Adobe Creative Suite, Arduino programming, circuitry, vinyl cutting, VHS conversion, 3D scanning, sound booth production, soldering, and even sewing machines.

Your role will be instrumental in fostering a love for technology while ensuring that everyone feels included and inspired!
