We are seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to join a growing commercial electrical and low-voltage contracting team in the Sacramento area. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on project management with estimating, customer communication, field coordination, and operational support. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects from the estimating and proposal stage through execution and closeout, while staying closely connected with customers, field teams, subcontractors, and company leadership.

## Compensation

## What You'll Accomplish
Manage 3 to 5 commercial projects simultaneously Develop project estimates, proposals, and scopes Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, project schedules, and resources Manage project budgets, contracts, change orders, and client communication Support staffing and resource allocation across active projects Conduct site visits and oversee project execution from kickoff through closeout Utilize Bluebeam and AutoCAD/CAD software to review plans and prepare or modify drawings Maintain communication with customers throughout project execution Collaborate with company leadership on operational and growth initiatives Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
## What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who can independently take ownership of multiple commercial projects while maintaining strong communication with customers, field personnel, subcontractors, and leadership. Success in this role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to move effectively between estimating, service operations, contract administration, and active project management.
## Required Qualifications
Experience managing commercial electrical, fire alarm, low-voltage, or building systems projects Strong understanding of project management processes and the project lifecycle Ability to manage multiple projects in the $30K to $90K range Experience with service-based electrical projects and customer support work Proficiency with Bluebeam Ability to create or modify CAD drawings Experience supporting project budgets, contracts, and change orders Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work directly with customers, field teams, subcontractors, and leadership Ability to operate independently and take ownership of projects
## Work Environment
This is an on-site opportunity in the Sacramento / Elk Grove, California area that combines office-based project management with active project and site involvement. The position includes site visits and direct coordination with customers and field teams. A company vehicle and gas card are provided to facilitate travel to project sites and support project oversight. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $120000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
