2nd Shift Packaging
Monday - Thursday 3:45pm to 2:15AM
Pay rate: $17.50/hr
Please notify any new starts that they will need to have $15 to obtain a badge and will receive their money back once they return the badge. They can also surrender their ID everyday however that will be a hassle on a daily basis
EE MUST complete Background Check, Drug Screen and Client Specific GMP Training
Packer.
Position Summary: Follow batch records and SOPs to inspect products at every step of the packaging process in to the form in which it will be shipped.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities to ensure the quality and safety of the product will include, but not be limited to:
i. Stock and sort product and packaging supplies such as, film, boxes, lids, bottles, ink, labels, etc.
ii. Measure and examine materials and finished products to ensure conformance to established standards.
iii. Inspect lot numbers, expiration dates, and other specifications before packaging.
iv. Place materials into containers, cartons and boxes.
v. Seal containers or boxes using hands, fasteners, tape, and hand tools.
vi. Remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials or packing supplies.
vii. Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
viii. Clean and sterilize the equipment and tools as specified.
ix. Provide information or indication of problems to Management or Quality Assurance.
x. Reports to work regularly and on time. xi. Perform duties safely and to report unsafe conditions or actions.
xii. Assists in other duties as needed and directed.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
i. Skilled in monitoring for quality.
ii. Demonstrate attention to detail and problem sensitivity.
iii. Knowledge of food production processing.
iv. Work well with others.
5. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
i. Must occasionally lift 25 lbs. or move up to 100 lbs. using pallet jacks.
ii. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms, and occasionally to pull.
iii. Specific sensing abilities required by this job include near vision and manual dexterity.

6. Work Environment: characteristic of an FDA regulated manufacturing facility. Personal Protective equipment may be worn in certain situations.
i. The employee is regularly exposed to noise, and to airborne particles, including some allergens.
ii. Completion of duties must be done within an allotted time which may create a sense of time pressure to meet deadlines.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $18.00
