Responsibilities:

- Mix and serve a wide range of classic and craft cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages

- Provide outstanding guest service by creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging bar atmosphere

- Uphold Max Downtowns standards of presentation, portion control, and consistency

- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area at all times

- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly

- Verify identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state regulations

- Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service

- Stay up to date with seasonal menus, beverage offerings, and ongoing training initiatives

Qualifications

What Were Looking For

Experience:

- Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in fine dining is REQUIRED

- Alternatively, 2+ years in a high-volume casual dining environment will be considered

- Strong working knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits

- TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred

Skills and Qualities:

- Highly organized with a polished and professional demeanor

- Exceptional multitasking and time management abilities

- Ability to maintain composure and efficiency during high-volume service

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to service excellence

- Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
