Position Title: Non-Clinical Case Manager
Position Summary
Global Dynamics is seeking a Non-Clinical Case Manager to support the Missouri Army National Guard (MOARNG) medical readiness mission. The Case Manager will coordinate and monitor medical, dental, and behavioral health cases for Service Members while supporting military medical readiness, deployability, and case management requirements.
This is a non-clinical role focused on case coordination, documentation review, medical readiness tracking, referrals, administrative case management, and communication with Soldiers, providers, military leadership, and other healthcare support personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned Soldier cases from identification through resolution, medical readiness, or administrative separation.
- Initiate, maintain, and update cases in MEDCHART/eCase and ensure case management activities are documented accurately and timely.
- Review medical documentation to assess the status of injuries, illnesses, diseases, and duty-limiting conditions.
- Coordinate Fit for Duty appointments , medical referrals, follow-up appointments, and required documentation.
- Support medical, dental, and behavioral health readiness requirements.
- Provide behavioral health case management support, including coordination of documentation, profiles, waivers, and medical board requirements.
- Maintain case tracking databases and monitor case status, follow-up dates, and Soldier compliance.
- Request and obtain medical documentation from Soldiers, healthcare providers, Military Treatment Facilities, and other appropriate resources.
- Coordinate with Medical Readiness NCOs, healthcare providers, Behavioral Health Officers, and other designated personnel.
- Track Soldier medical appointments and ensure required follow-up documentation is received.
- Assist with medical boards, waivers, duty limitation profiles, deployment limitations, and Active Duty Orders Process requests.
- Participate in Soldier Readiness Processing and Medical Readiness Events as required.
- Educate Soldiers regarding available resources to improve medical, dental, and behavioral health readiness.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable Army regulations and policies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Master of Social Work (MSW), or Bachelor's Degree in Health Science.
- Must meet applicable certification and licensure requirements identified in the MQS2-NG base contract.
- Must meet applicable Basic Life Support requirements.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or otherwise meet the authorization requirements established by the contract.
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation.
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with Service Members, healthcare providers, military leadership, and multidisciplinary teams.
Working Conditions and Environment
This position is on-site in a medical facility. Driving may be required.
Physical Requirements
The position requires repetitive motion, such as standing, walking, sitting and bending. Light lifting, up to 20 pounds, may be required.
