Job responsibilities
- Drive research analysis on themes such as supply chain and advanced manufacturing; defense and aerospace; energy independence and resilience; frontier and strategic technologies; and pharmaceutical and health technologies and produce regular research and deep-dive reports
- Discern and analyze fundamental drivers of relevant industries and supply chains
- Produce and maintain quantitative indicators tracking progress or lack thereof of IPT industries development
- Produce high quality commercial research drawing on data, market signals, and sector-specific evidence and factoring in how policy and geopolitics shape sectoral opportunities and risks
- Project thematic developments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with different lines of research and different business lines across the bank to leverage IPT research
- Communicate findings through business writing
- Maintain external relationships and contribute to internal and external client engagements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 1-5 years’ experience in data analysis
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Intellectual flexibility to work across multiple industries and themes with curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a team player mentality
- Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis

- Experience in the financial services industry or IPT-related industry research organization
