Sr. Mgr, Order Execution

Global Planning & Operations (GP&O), connects end-to-end planning, order management, and execution to deliver products to customers with speed, quality, and predictability. It brings together planning, inventory, order management, and order execution capabilities into a unified global operating model that drives operational excellence and enables scalable growth across Lam’s factory network.

The impact you’ll make

As Senior Manager of Tualatin Order Execution, you will lead the Production Control and System Project Management team for Tualatin Order Execution. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer order delivery by role modeling collaboration, fostering teamwork and inspiring a high-performance culture, focused on delivering business results across the Tualatin HVM and Pilot Operations team. The ability to lead and manage effectively in a matrixed, global organization is critical. Candidates must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with key stakeholders in Sales Operations, Product Management and senior executives.  Self-confidence, initiative and the ability to think calmly under pressure are critical attributes. The candidate must be familiar with operating in a global environment and is creative, strategic, personable, achievement oriented and adaptive in leading transformational change throughout a highly matrixed organization.

What you’ll do

- Reports to the Director of Order Execution for US/EU regions and will have ownership for Order Execution across manufacturing sites in Tualatin, OR
- Responsible to drive performance for On-Time as Committed shipments, meeting Customer demand to requested need dates
- Direct functional responsibilities and development of System Project Management and Production Control local team
- Drive achievement of organizational goals, culture & core values through delivery of cross-functional objectives and people strategies

- Partners with internal stakeholders in Sales Operations, Product Management, and Global Operations to drive continuous improvement in order fulfillment processes to improve competitiveness in meeting customer needs and product lead times

Who we are looking for

- Bachelor’s degree, Masters (MBA, Engineering, Supply Chain or other Operational discipline) preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in order fulfillment, supply chain, or operations roles
- 5+ years of leadership experience in senior management role within a global, matrixed environment
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and customer outcomes at scale
- Strong problem-solving capability with experience driving structured root-cause methodologies (e.g., 8D)
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing operations is required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must
- Strong business acumen, relationship skills and the ability to speak with data
- Proven ability to operate under pressure and manage high-impact, time-sensitive issues

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or similarly complex global industries
- Experience in both NPI and volume manufacturing
- Track record of improving customer delivery performance and operational efficiency
- Strong data-driven decision-making and performance management capability

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
