Sr Software Engineer, Employee Experience & Productivity

Join IS&T's Services Technology team and build cutting-edge IT systems for Apple TV+ Studio & Production and Music operations. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you'll architect and develop large-scale web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality solutions in a fast paced environment. You'll own applications end-to-end, working full stack and contributing to a robust technology ecosystem.

Employee Experience and Productivity (EEP) is part of IS&T and delivers some of the most widely used communication and productivity technology and services across Apple — from tools that enable collaboration to the support teams that keep Apple's workforce running. EEP also leads user experience design and research, and manages the systems behind Apple's original content studios.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior software engineer to join our dynamic and expanding team. In this role, you will be part of a larger engineering team working on highly integrated applications in a fast paced environment. You will champion innovation by leveraging modern generative AI tools to accelerate documentation and optimize workflows. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Design and Product, to design and develop complex, distributed, high-quality solutions with tight deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
12 + years programming experience in Frontend Javascript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js. & Java, or Node.js.
12 + years experience using SQL or NoSQL Databases.
Hands on experience with Gen AI Tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins) and testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit).
Experience working with distributed, global teams.
Experience working with observability and monitoring systems such as Dynatrace or DataDog.
Experience working in highly integrated systems.
Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure or GCP).
Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work and solve problems independently.
Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins) and testing frameworks for Unit, API and integration testing(e.g. JUnit).
Experience using Agentic AI for development, testing and DevOps.
