The main function of a Manager Triad and Risk Operations is to perform analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily management of applications which support the Retail Risk function for Unsecured Lending. The main application(s) of day to day work is TSYS-TRIAD.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
- Gather requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers. Perform high level configuration and moderate level coding tasks.
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
- Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions, primarily retail risk management, to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
- Support one or more highly complex business processes.
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member.
- Serve as a liaison between the business community (Retail Risk) and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred 8-10 years experience required.
- Advanced understanding and management principles for software development mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions.
- Ability to design business solutions that increase competitive advantage.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solution.
- Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Knowledge of agile methodology is not required, but an asset.
- Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details.
- Ability to increase operating efficiency while produce high quality technical solutions.
- A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary as engagement with various teams across multiple functions will be done daily.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and independent research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
