Ceiling Installer

Pay range: $25.00-$35.00 DOE

We are looking for a ceiling Installer to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

- Install various types of ceilings, including suspended ceilings, acoustic ceilings, and
decorative ceilings.

- Measure and cut ceiling materials to the appropriate size and shape.

- Mount and secure ceiling panels, tiles, or other materials using appropriate tools and
techniques.

- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out ceiling components.
Ensure that all installations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and
manufacturer's instructions.

- Collaborate with other team members, such as electricians or plumbers, to ensure
proper installation of ceiling fixtures or utilities.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Adhere to project deadlines and complete assignments in a timely manner.

- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients.

Qualification:

- Experience as a Ceiling Installer or similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of different types of ceilings, installation techniques, and materials.

- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, or specifications related to ceiling installations.

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the job.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and
confined spaces.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces and

- elevated surfaces. Able to work at heights up to 45ft.

- Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 100lbs

- Able to work independently or with a crew

- Basic understanding of safety procedures and the importance of workplace safety.

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

- Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts throughout the day

- Must be able to bend, twist, and turn the body at the shoulders, waist, and knees to complete installation

- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

- Position requires a drug test and physical to be completed, contingent upon employment.

Physical Demand:

- Must be able to use common hand tools, including scissors, utility knife, saws, pliers, and
stapling hammer, drills, laser guns,

- Must be able to read job instructions and record materials used per each work/job order

- Must be able to work in tight places, including attics and crawlspaces

- Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 100lbs

- Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts

- Must be able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees to install ceiling tile

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

- Able to climb into, operate, and work in an aerial lift
