Job Summary

The position focuses on enhancing equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance costs, managing asset data, developing preventive maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with established procedures. Additional responsibilities include data analysis for KPI-driven improvements, standardizing maintenance processes, supporting training initiatives, and assisting with financial and project portfolio management.

Job Responsibilities

- Supports the implementation of the Smart Terminal Maintenance strategy across U.S. terminals, focused on improving equipment availability, reliability, and maintenance cost efficiency.

- Leads the creation and maintenance of terminal asset structures (systems, equipment, and spare parts) to ensure accurate data management and standardization.

- Supports and monitors the correct creation of Work Orders and linkage to Purchase Orders, including external services (with and without agreements) and spare parts, following established SOPs.

- Develops and maintains preventive maintenance plans for recurring services, ensuring monthly execution and compliance.

- Collects and analyzes operational data from terminals (delays, stoppages, pending repairs, and WOs) to support KPI management and identify improvement opportunities.

- Uses KPIs and root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and support the development of replicable solutions across terminals.

- Actively supports terminal training efforts and standardization processes related to maintenance workflows, asset updates, and closed-loop communication with maintenance teams.

- Other projects and duties as assigned.

- Assist in overseeing financial planning, CAPEX management, and project portfolio management, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources

- Provide support and coordination across Supply Chain regions and functional groups, including Planning & Analytics

- Assist in the development and control of comprehensive financial plans, including 5-year strategic plans, annual budgets, capital planning, and proposal development.

- Lead the effort to move away from "one-size-fits-all" maintenance. Use data mining to identify similar equipment groups across all sites, building a standardized Bill of Materials (BOM) that still respects the unique layout of each terminal.

- Use SAP history to perform root-cause analysis on recurring failures—like frequent bearing swaps on the main silos—to adjust our preventive maintenance (PM) frequency and lower total cost of ownership.

- Build out "BOMs" for our common assets. This allows us to share critical spares between terminals, reducing the capital tied up in "just-in-case" inventory.

- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for routine terminal repair

Qualifications

- Engineer, Supply Chain Degree or

- Experience in Inventory, Supply Chain, etc.

- Experience in inventory, SC /special projects

- Experience with Microsoft Access, SAP or other external data systems preferred

- Knowledge of Python, R, Anaplan, APO, and other Analytics/Statistical tools preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Excel including Macro & Pivot Table, PowerPoint, Word, Etc)

- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

- Team player, able take a leadership role in dealing effectively with various internal and external teams/departments

- Proven ability to work independently, meet multiple deadlines, and manage workload in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.

- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
