Automotive Service Technician
Village Pointe Toyota – Omaha, Nebraska
Village Pointe Toyota is looking for skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing Service Department.

Toyota experience is preferred but is not required . Technicians with experience from other manufacturers or independent repair facilities are encouraged to apply.
Position Responsibilities
As an Automotive Service Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and repair customer vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and other vehicle systems
- Perform recalls and warranty repairs in accordance with Toyota procedures
- Complete Multi-Point Inspections on assigned vehicles
- Identify needed maintenance and safety-related repairs
- Clearly document inspection findings, diagnoses, and completed repairs
- Communicate additional repair needs to the Service Advisor
- Utilize Toyota diagnostic equipment, technical information, and repair procedures
- Verify repairs and perform quality-control checks
- Maintain an organized and professional work area
- Properly care for customer vehicles while they are in the dealership
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
- Complete required Toyota and dealership training
- Work effectively with Service Advisors, Parts personnel, and other technicians
- Maintain productivity and quality standards established by the dealership
Qualifications
- Previous automotive repair experience
- Toyota or other manufacturer dealership experience preferred
- ASE certifications preferred
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
- Electrical diagnostic experience is a plus
- Ability to accurately diagnose and repair modern vehicle systems
- Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment and service information
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Dependable and professional
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must have or be willing to obtain appropriate tools for the position
- Ability to meet applicable pre-employment requirements
