CNA or HHA

Chicopee, 01020, Part time or Full time, 8 hour shifts, 3pm - 11pm, Shifts available 7 days a week, Early bird gets the shift.
CNA or HHA or CHHA or PCA (with at least 3 years experience), Hoyer lift Exp. necessary.

Please assist our lovely Chicopee elder in her home. She is in a rehab facility currently and desperately wants to come home. She has suffered a stroke and is paralyzed on the right side. Her adoring husband will assist with the Hoyer lift necessary for personal care. Currently, she is bedbound but is alert, cooperative, and communicative. She needs feeding assistance...which is always a perfect opportunity to socially connect, as we believe this is so important to both the client and caregiver.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Hoyer lift experience
* 1-3 years Professional Eldercare Experience
* At least 2 Professional References (not friends)
* Fluent English 
* Reliable Transportation
* Willing to submit to criminal background checks
* Willing to accept 1 shift every other weekend
* Compassionate Character
