Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, capacity management, inventory control, and workforce optimization.
- Thorough understanding of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and safety requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment; medical device, pharmaceutical, or aseptic manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proven leadership experience managing supervisors and production teams, with a demonstrated ability to develop talent, build engagement, and drive accountability.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies, with a track record of cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Knowledge of equipment qualification, process validation, change control, production transfers, and new product introductions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to leverage data to improve operational performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while driving operational excellence and a continuous improvement culture.
Experience:
- +5 years’ experience managing a manufacturing environment that is both labor and machine intensive including leading a considerable amount of employees
Education:
- Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering, Material or related field
- Master’s degree is a plus
