CNC Machinist

What You'll Do

As a CNC Machinist, you will:

- Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce complex precision components.
- Interpret blueprints, setup documentation, and CNC program information to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Select, install, and adjust tooling and machine offsets for optimal performance.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed to maintain efficiency and precision.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, verniers, depth gauges, and scales.
- Perform secondary machining and finishing operations, including drilling and deburring.
- Collaborate with experienced machinists, supervisors, and team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while following all safety and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

- A minimum of two years of machining experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and firsthand experience.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, setup sheets, and CNC program documentation.
- Knowledge of machining practices, manufacturing principles, and shop mathematics.
- Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
- Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and CNC machining terminology.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Physical & Work Environment

This role is performed in a manufacturing machine shop environment and requires standing for extended periods, handling materials and tooling, and working around machining equipment. Safety is a top priority, and all employees are expected to follow established safety procedures and use required PPE.

Compensation Information:

This position has a starting hourly rate of $24.40 to $28.75 per hour. Pay is determined by several factors, including a candidate’s experience, relevant skills, and qualifications
