Cobblestone Creek Country Club , located in Victor, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Seasonal Grounds Crew! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Must possess the ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
- Experience with operating greens and fairway mowers preferred.
- Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping.
- Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations.
- Ability to give oral and written instructions.
- Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation.
- Must be dependable.
- Perform duties that help maintain the Golf Course and Grounds: string trimming, mower operation, raking bunkers
- Operate golf course equipment in a safe manner
- Participate in projects
- Assist in maintaining landscaping throughout the course and grounds
Responsibilities:
- Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
- Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas.
- Waters tees, greens, and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.
- Repairs the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as needed.
- Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod, and seeds greens, tees, and fairways.
- Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
- Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Work Schedule:
Monday thru Friday plus weekends
