At Franciscan the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients in our clinics. This role is critical in assisting providers and coworkers in coordinating patient care as well as functions as a liaison between patients, coworkers, and providers.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Sign-on Bonus Available (Ask Talent Acquisition Advisor if eligible for Sign-on Bonus)
- Monday through Friday, day shift. No weekends. 40 hours per week
- Clinic Hours 8am to 8pm
- Provide direct patient care, rooming patients, taking vitals, obtain medical history, administer vaccines, injections, medications, phlebotomy, point of care testing, medication reconciliation, starting IVs, triage, assisting with procedures, and conduct rounds with providers
- Exceptional service to those we are privileged to serve including internal and external customers, via phone, electronic and in person
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills on multiple levels. Analysis and critical thinking to support provider
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on diagnosis, medications, procedures, treatment plans and chronic care management
- Initiate and follow through on prior authorizations, referrals, and medication refills
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Associate's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
